Musashi and the others head out to capture a monster, but they're interrupted by Chief Nagare of the Monster Killing Weapon Development Team, "Garus." As Nagare preaches the expulsion of monsters, Musashi vehemently protests. But Nagare has a tragic past of losing his younger sister to a monster.
